Taylor Rees is a civil and structural engineer and the founder of Cemented Ltd. Originally from Pembrokeshire, Wales, Taylor graduated from the University of Liverpool with a first class Masters degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
Alongside his studies, he completed multiple placements within the energy sector before moving into full-time engineering work.
With professional experience across complex industrial environments, Taylor brings a methodical and safety-led approach to every project.
This background underpins Cemented’s commitment to delivering clear, compliant structural calculations that support safe, buildable outcomes for domestic and commercial projects across Cheshire and the North West.
While working in the energy sector, Taylor developed a strong appreciation for precision, accountability and engineering best practice.
However, domestic structural design has always been his passion, which led to the founding of Cemented Ltd - with the aim of bringing the same level of professionalism and transparency to residential projects that is expected in larger industries.
During his studies, Taylor received two awards for work produced to an outstanding standard, and that same attention to detail continues today.
Every calculation and report is completed with care, clarity and consistency - if it would not meet Taylor’s own expectations, it does not leave the office.
